The 2010 Annual General Meeting.

The Bampton Community Archive Annual General Meeting will be held in Bampton Village Hall at 8.00 pm on Wednesday, April 14th. There will be a glass of wine and nibbles and after the main business we will be showing two of the Archive films. Members and new members welcome.

Archery Exhibition.

The exhibition on Archery, has been organised by Gerald Mills, the president of Bampton Archery Club, one of its fouders and one of its main coaches. The exhibition shows the history of the Club and includes a film showing its work with the junior members. The "Archery in Bampton from Early Times to the Modern Day" is 10th May to 26th June.

Coin Exhibition.

The exhibition "Dug up in Bampton II - the coins" opens on 6th Sept. and lasts until 30 Oct. 2010. The second 'Dug up in Bampton' exhibition is a follow up from our exhibition in 2009, which produced such a wealth of antique coins that we decided to hold an exhihbition showing to the coins that had been 'dug up'. These range from Celtic and Roman to 20th century and the Roman coins have changed the academic thinking on Roman Bampton.
